Pokhara is a piece of heaven in the world. There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit in Nepal, outside the Kathmandu Valley. Pokhara is one of the most scenic and exciting valley in Nepal. Pokhara valley is the ‘Jewel of the mid-west’, second major tourist sport in Nepal but the favorite of tourists from around the globe.  It is linked by Air and by road from Kathmandu and the Indian border Sunauli. Pokhara lies 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu six hours by car and 25 minutes by flight. It is famous for its lakes and its location beneath the towering Annapurna massif. It is highly recommendable to visit this scenic valley, stay in small resort hotels with views of the magnificent Himalayan peaks, go boating on the calm waters of the Phewa and the Begnas lakes or go on tours or day hikes in the nearby hills or if time permits, on a well-organized trekking holiday.                         Early Morning Breakfast at Hotel & drive to Pokhara, which is 210 km away from Kathmandu drive approx 6 -7. We drive further west into the mountains, following the rivers for much of the day.  Pokhara, also nicknamed as the Lake City, is not only Nepal's but one of the most beautiful places on earth. The town offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. Sarabgkot

From Pokhara, Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where you can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. It lies at the altitude of 1592m. This hill sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa Lake. Just a short scenic hike through small villages and jungle from the main tourist area of Pokhara, or a 30 minute can drive to get there. Sarangkot is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, where on a clear day you can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayas of Dhaulagiri 8167m, Manaslu 8163m and Annapurna 8091m and, in the middle of the Annapurna range, the Machhapuchhre 6993m (virgin Fishtail). The best sunrise, beautiful green hills, terraces of rice and the beautiful view of Pokhara valley can be seen from Sarangkot Hill.

Situated at the lap of amazing Annapurna Himal, Pokhara is situated 198 km west from Kathmandu. Pokhara has become a big tourist hub in Nepal. Pokhara is the most visited tourist destination in Nepal. Pokhara is famous because of the magnificent views of the central Himalayas, the Annapurna, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Manaslu, Davis Fall, Bindabasini Temple, Fewa Lake, Bat Cave, and many other attractions for which Pokhara is famous for. Pokhara city offers a combination of nature and culture with a distinct tourist. Pokhara is also known as the starting and ending point for the famous Annapurna and Jomsom treks. From a climatic point of view, Pokhara is enjoyable all year round.
