Group Size and Guide RatioWe take a maximum of 16 clients on the trip. There will be an English speaking leader or guide and a team of Sherpas to cater to the group's needs. Our Trekking DayWe will be walking for 4 to 7 hours every day, depending on trails and altitude with some rest and acclimatization periods. The daily routine begins at around 6 a.m. with tea and washing water brought to your tent and rooms. Please get packed promptly so that the Sherpas can start taking down the tents (For camping trek) and packing up your baggage, while you are having breakfast. Take your day pack with you for breakfast. The morning walk will be about 3 hours and there is no need to hurry. The lunch stop lasts about 1 to 2 hours and is a good time to do your laundry, write your diary, etc. Then we walk for another 2 to 3 hours to our evening stop. Tea and biscuits await you and a few hours later dinner and evening reading, cards, drinking, etc. Best Season Autumn (Sept to Dec) and spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Annapurna Poon hill trek. The weather is sunny, with outstanding views but the nights are a little cold. Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) is also good for Annapurna Poonhill Trek although it will be a little less colder than Autumn and Spring. Baggage AllowancesWe always recommend that you don't allow your baggage to exceed 15 kilograms that should include your clothing & personal equipment. This is not only cumbersome for you but is also added weight for the porter or even the plane that carries your load. This is the maximum weight permitted for human carriers & even the machine that carries you & your load. 15 kg is considered to be the safe load for porters carrying your baggage across tough terrain to dizzy heights. In avoidable circumstances, TNT will not be responsible for any extra charges made for excess baggage & the risks involved.
